Many couples who get married on Salt Spring Island want to have a memorable gathering with their closest friends and family and share beautiful food in an outdoor casual atmosphere. Not too stuffy, not too formal. Just enjoying the great outdoors, by the lake sipping some beer and wine. Sounds pretty great right? Well, get Emma McCormick Creative and her team to plan your party, and you will get some indigo dyed shibori table runners and napkins paired with bright bold seasonal dahlias. It’s a feast for the eyes! I used fresh seasonal flowers grown (some even by me!) locally here on Salt Spring Island. Being an August wedding it was peak dahlia and sunflower season, and let’s not forget the straw flowers and rudbeckias which were stunning also. This wedding looked like it was a lot of fun, I’m sure all their guests had a wonderful time!

“I thought the wedding flowers were so beautiful…all those fall shades of dahlias! Those little glass vases were charming. Overall the wedding was perfect – it was exactly what A + D envisioned. And the bouquets were so elegant. It was a pleasure to meet you. We really appreciated your creativity and professionalism. Thanks so much for contributing to such a special day for our family” – Irene (Mother of the bride)
