The busy wedding season has come to an end, so now it is time to share a few special weddings from this past summer. The following June wedding was an elegant west coast affair taking place at Brentwood College School, with it’s beautiful west coast modern architecture and soaring views over the ocean it was impressive to say the least.
The gorgeous David Austin rose called “Juliet” has been in high demand the last few years. And you can see why. It’s soft peachy color and sumptuous mass of petals is enough to send even non flower lovers over the moon!! I was so happy when the bride said she wasn’t against carnations. I found the perfect carnation for this soft romantic look, full of ruffles and a lovely blush color. The bride also requested freesia which has such a wonderful scent.
I adore the classic black elements in this wedding such as the bridesmaids gowns and table linens! It adds to the classic elegance that was achieved.
I absolutely LOVE this couple’s idea for their wedding favor. Cedar salmon planks that were branded with their initials! A family member hand made the branding iron and the groom’s father branded them all himself.
These beautiful cakes were made by the groom’s aunt, and I bet they were as delicious as they were pretty!
All the best to J & T for their future! It was a pleasure to work with such an organized bride who knew exactly what she wanted.
